NDA Result 2016 – NDA I Result 2016 of written examination held on 17 April 2016 will be announced in the month of September 2016. Components of NDA 1 Result 2016
UPSC will announce the result for NDA I exam 2016 in the following stages:
- Publication of NDA- I written examination result: UPSC will prepare the list of candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying marks in the written examination as decided by the Commission. Candidates can check here for NDA Result 2016. Roll number of candidates will be mentioned in the result sheets who have qualified for SSB Interview. Qualified candidates can download the interview call letter and attend the interview round.
- Services Selection Board (SSB) Interview: The candidate will have to undergo five-day interview procedure at the allotted SSB centres. The date, time and venue for SSB interview will be intimated to the candidates through the call letter. Candidates will have to appear before for Intelligence and Personality Test where candidates for the Army/Navy wings of the NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of Indian Naval Academy will be assessed on Officers Potentiality. Those for the Air Force will have to undergo test in Computerised Pilot Selection System (CPSS) and Pilot Aptitude Test (which forms the whole PAB Test) and for Officers Potentiality.
- Medical Screening: Once the interview is complete, the candidates will be sent to for the complete medical examination at the command hospitals.
- Final Merit List: The marks obtained in the three stages viz written examination, SSB Interview and Medical Screening will be considered while preparing the final NDA Result 2016 which is expected to be declared by UPSC in the month of February 2016.

UPSC has adopted a candidate friendly approach to access the NDA Result 2016. A Pdf file containing list of roll no will be published. If the candidate’s name is there in the list then they are provisionally eligible for next round of interview and personality tests.

Step 1: Visit the official site of UPSC or click on the link here: Candidates will have to click on the ‘NDA I Result 2016’ link that will take the candidate to the result page of the site.
Step 2: Check the result file: The result will be available in PDF format with roll number of all qualified candidates. The candidates will have to search through the list for finding out their roll number.
Step 3: Take the print-out of the result: After checking the result, the candidates should take a print-out of it for further use.
Important Points Regarding NDA 2016 Result
- All the candidates whose roll number is listed in the result file are provisionally considered as selected. Their candidature can be cancelled at any stage of recruitment process for violation of rules.
- At the SSB interview, the candidates are required to submit their original certificates of age, educational qualification, and categorical reservation claim.
- Detailed marks would be made available on the UPSC’s website within 15 days of the announcement of the final results after the conduct of the SSB Interviews.
