BITSAT 2016 Result

BITSAT 2016 Result - Result of Iteration 5 has been announced by BITS on August 9. Earlier, Iteration 4 result for admission to Integrated First degree programs for the academic year 2016-17 was announced on July 31. Candidates can check the result on this page by entering BITSAT 2016 Application Number and Password. At the completion of online test, the computer announced BITSAT 2016 Result to candidates in terms of number of total correct answers and wrong answers, with the score. They could also check and print their score report after completing their tests. Admissions to integrated first degree programmes at campuses of BITS will be given on the basis of BITSAT result 2016. The results of V Iteration for admission to integrated first degree programs will be announced on August 9 by 5.00 PM.

In the event of a tie in BITSAT result 2016 (same scores for two or more candidates), the inter-se merit was decided by the marks obtained by the students in BITSAT 2016 in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry as well as their class XII marks in the subjects in order mentioned.
Wait List of BITSAT 2016 is for candidates, who do not figure in the first merit list but may have a chance to get admission based on any vacancies that might arise.
Candidates listed in BITSAT 2016 Wait List will be called for counselling once the candidates in the first merit list are allotted seats.

BITSAT (Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test) 2016 was conducted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) for granting admissions to various Integrated First Degree Programmes of Engineering. Nearly 2 lakh candidates appeared for BITSAT 2016 and they competed for around 2,000 seats available in various BE (Hons.) programmes available across its campuses.
